MLM Training Tips ? The Pipeline Marketing Technique: What It Is And Why Your Business Can?t Go Another Day Without It

Today’s MLM training tip is one of my beloved “guru” techniques: Pipeline Marketing.

What is Pipeline Marketing? Well, it’s a brilliant technique that will produce tremendous results if you both understand and apply it to your business. You have to be a true marketer in order for this to work correctly.

Here’s how it works: Let’s assume that, through your online marketing efforts, only 3 prospects per day have a serious interest in GETTING INFORMATION ONLY about your product/service/opportunity, not actually sampling your product, or viewing a sales presentation. So, in actuality, you have 90 real leads per month that have entered your information “pipeline.” At this point they are only interested people and nothing more. Stay with me, this gets fun!

The “magic” to this technique is the CONTINUAL CONTACT OVER A PERIOD OF TIME, because it’s not YOUR timing that matters, but their timing on when they are ready to purchase. Keep in mind, nobody likes to be sold, but everybody loves to buy. So, let’s look at these numbers over the course of several months and see what happens:

MONTH 1: 90 prospects
MONTH 2: 180 prospects
MONTH 3: 270 prospects
MONTH 4: 360 prospects
MONTH 5: 450 prospects
MONTH 6: 540 prospects
MONTH 12: 1080 PROSPECTS

Between 300-600 prospects in your pipeline (3-6 months) is when you’ll start to enroll between 3-8 new customers/business partners or more into your business. For most MLM professionals, this level of sponsoring would be an all-out explosion and would put them into the top 5% of ANY company. That’s the power of pipeline marketing: No selling, no presenting, no sampling, no convincing, no chasing. How’s that for progress?

Once again, the “magic” is the CONSTANT CONTACT OVER TIME. What do I mean by continual contact? I’m referring to an indefinite, ongoing communication that periodically sends out an educational message on auto-pilot about your product/service with a low-key opportunity to sign up. Remember, every prospect in the pipeline is there because at one time they were genuinely interested in your product/service/opportunity, so the communications are expected and welcome.

Without a doubt, if you desire to be in business for the long haul, and you don’t have a pipeline of leads, you’re working hard and not smart. I just handed you a crash course on how some of the wealthiest business builders acquire their success, and do it almost effortlessly.

Build up a consistent flow of leads and stay in contact with them over a long period of time. The constant contact will eventually yield tremendous results.

MLM Tips: 3 Things Your Business Can’t Live Without

Good business is about branding and in order to brand your business you have to stand out from the crowd. At the end of the day you have to know the fundamentals of business. Without these fundamentals your business won’t survive. As humans we like clothes and shoes, but we can indeed survive without them. We desire a nice house and car, but we can survive without them. Having the luxuries in life are great, but all we need is food, air and water. Those are the fundamentals of life and without those there wouldn’t be life on the planet.

The same principles apply to your MLM business. There are things that it cannot live without. Traffic, leads and profits are the 3 things that your business can’t survive without. All 3 of these are necessary to keep your business going. Although you may see some success, it won’t be long term. Neither one of them is more important than the other, all three of them are essential for your business to succeed.

It is like a domino effect in the sense that you pull one out and everything else crumbles. In order to get leads you have to draw traffic. In order to make money you have to have lots of leads. This is the simplified version of the success formula. Lots of Traffic + Leads = Lots of $$$. If you are only offline prospecting then you are limiting yourself to the amount of traffic you are generating, because if you aren’t physically out prospecting then you aren’t getting traffic to your business presentation or website. If you aren’t getting traffic, then aren’t getting leads. If you aren’t getting leads then you won’t have anyone to build relationships with, and the MLM business is all about relationships. But as we know it is a numbers game, so the more people you talk to the better chance you have of them joining your MLM business. How many people can you talk to in a day? Can you talk to 50-100 people on a consistent basis everyday and maintain a relationship with them? If you can’t do that then you aren’t going to make a lot of money in this industry. You may not be able to do this offline, but you can generate 50-100 leads a day online.

If you are only prospecting offline, you may be able to supplement your current income, but you may not be able to walk away from your job or become financially free. If you aren’t making the money you want then you have to go back to the drawing board and re-strategize your action plan. Start with traffic; spend 95% of your time here. What marketing strategies are you going to use to get people to your website or to view your presentation? You can use Google Adwords, Facebook ads, video marketing or article marketing. All of these strategies will allow you to attract leads. Once you have your leads, you need something to do with them. This is where an auto responder comes into play, and this is how you build a relationship with your leads. Because you are building a relationship by offering value and not just trying to sell to them then when you do offer something whether it be your MLM opportunity or an affiliate product then you will profit, because they trust you.
