Have you thought about joining an MLM or Network Marketing business, or thought about switching from the one you’re in? Is it a new company? If it is, you want to make sure you understand a few things before you take the next step.

This is a fact: 94% of network marketers who earn at least 6 figures stay with their company for at least 5 years. It makes sense: you can’t expect to make money in ANYTHING if you can’t commit a decent amount of time to it. You need to understand that being consistent and aligning yourself with a solid company that is in line with your values is the best decision you can make.

Having said that, if you are contemplating a Pre-Launch Network Marketing company, you need to stop and put some things into perspective.

The definition of “pre-launch” means preparing to launch. This to me means that there is not a lot of stability unless the MLM company that is in a Pre Launch might have changed names and is starting a ‘new’ division, etc.

If you are being prospected by someone to join a Pre Launch Network Marketing business then you need to know what to expect. You need to know what exactly a pre-launch is, and how to make the best decision for yourself.

New Network Marketing businesses can be confusing in the beginning. The industry itself is very complicated, and there can be a lot of hype surrounding it. You have to make sure that you are doing your research! You have to make sure that you are getting the FACTS about the business you are looking at.

When a company is in a pre launch, it can be hyped to you as the best investment of your life. Some people believe that if you join a company in this phase then you will be very wealthy. They tell you that you joined them just at the right time. However, you NEED to do your research and make your decision based on intelligence, not emotion, before you join a company with absolutely no track record.

The very first thing you need to do is look at the management of the company. Find out if they have any criminal records, what their previous experience and successes are, etc. The company should have full disclosure to anyone who is contemplating joining it, because they should have nothing to hide!

It is critical that a company have financial support and is able to support the beginning stages of their new company. It is very common for a new network marketing company to fizzle out within the first three years. This is due to not having enough cash flow to grow as needed. This, in turn, puts YOUR investment at risk.

As for the products that the company is offering, ask yourself this question: Would you buy that product if you were not a distributor for the company? If not, then may want to reconsider joining.

You must also have an interest and a passion about the products and services as well. This will help you to believe in what you are selling and help you to have confidence about it. If you think that it might be too good to be true, then most likely it is.

Another thing to keep in mind is that during Pre-launch Network Marketing, companies bring big-name network marketers in to get you excited. They want people to believe that if they join on emotion then they will be successful. This could not be further from the truth. You need to do your due diligence and RESEARCH the company.

If you feel as though someone is really pushing to get you “in” to thier business, the product may not be that great. Frankly, the products should speak for themselves. A famous person is not going to build a business for you. You have to be prepared to not only sell the products but also build a large team of people willing to do the same.

Again, you NEED to do your research!!! The leaders of the company should be well-respected and have a clear vision of where the company is headed. Do not put out any of your time or money until you are confident in your decision. It is a big commitment and one that you need to be ready for.
